Course Objective |
The objective of this course is to gain some general, experimental and theoritical knowledges about the mechanical behaviours of composites materials to students; and to develop the ability of them to solve problems in the field of mechanics of composite structures, especialy laminated composites. |

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods |
During first two or three weeks general informations such as, definition, classification and production of composites will be expressed by presentation and videos. In the remaining weeks, mechanical of composite materials will be given theoretically. Sample problems for each subject will be solved. |

In case the course is held in the form of distance education, two different homework assignments are given instead of midterm exams. |
