Course Objective

In this course, the behavior of reinforced concrete elements will be discussed. In this context, nonlinear structural behavior of reinforced concrete structural elements will be examined. Participation to the course will be provided effectively with the assignments and presentations that will be prepared by the students.

1   To be able to interpret the properties of nonlinear behavior under the load effects of reinforced concrete structural elements
2   To be able to comprehend structural analysis of reinforced concrete elements
3   To be able to comprehend elaboration and nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete structural elements and applications
4   Ability to solve the problems in the applications of reinforced concrete structural elements
5   Comparative analysis of structural analysis of different types of reinforced concrete elements in terms of behavior
