Course Objective

Teaching the basic concepts of Fluid Mechanics and theoretical relations required in the design of hydraulic structures.

1   To describe the basic properties of fluids
2   To explain the dimensional analysis, dimensionless parameters and their importance
3   To solve the hydrostatics problems
4   To solve the problems related with the fluids in motion
5   To use the gained knowledge for solving of engineering problems
