Course Objective

In the course content, Definition, classification, idealization and modeling of
reinforced concrete structures are given first. Then, dead and live loads are defined.
Internal forces and reinforced concrete sectional analyses are introduced. In the
course students will also gain ability of drawing for reinforced concrete sections.

1   Classification of structural material and its mechanical properties.
2   Understanding structural safety and its properties.
3   Investigation of structural behavior of reinforced concrete structures.
4   Learning reinforced concrete structural drawing
5   Defining damage reasons of existing buildings
