Course Objective

With this course, by introducing MS Excel program practically, it is aimed to develop the coding and MS Excel using skills of the students through DSS applications, which they may need in their professional life, and to make students gain professional skills in accordance with the era of Industry 4.0.

1   Learning DSS and their importance
2   Learning use of MS Excel and its benefits in professional life
3   To be able to solve and interpret various engineering problems by using MS Excel solver
4   To be able to record, to edit and to create macros via Visual Basic Applications (VBA) to solve problems
5   To be able to use MS Excel solver by macros autonomously or semi-autonomously
6   Being able to obtain knowledge from information and information from data via database management techniques
7   Achieving the skills that are required to design and to managing a DSS
