Course Objective |
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems are software systems used to support information management in companies. They help to deal with information about orders, inventory, accounting, human resources, production, and so on. The main goal of this course is to facilitate basic understandings of: how ERP systems improve the effectiveness of information systems in organizations; the role of process modeling in redesigning business models; functional modules of the ERP Systems; the interrelationships among business processes; concepts behind the modules and functions (patterns, conceptual models); the information systems development process for enterprise systems, including planning, design, and implementation; the role of ERP in supporting e-Business. |
