Course Objective

To teach the fundamentals of electromagnetic theory

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Ability to express the fundamental concepts of electromagnetic theory.
2   Ability to calculate the electric and magnetic field distributions for a given symmetric charge distributions.
3   Ability to find the capacitance and the induntance of desfined geometries.
4   Ability to express the relations between the electric and magnetic fields for time varying fields.
5   Ability to utilize the vector algebra, vector calculus, integral and differential methods to analize the static electric and magnetic fields.
6   Ability to express the properties dieielctric and magnetic materials.
