Course Objective

To teach and develop solution preparation techniques. To introduce chemical analysis methods and equipment that using chemical analysis. To display and carry out experiments related to environmental chemistry (solid matters, pH, dissolved oxygen, acidity, alkalinity, BOD and COD)

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Defines the aim of laboratory work in environmental engineering and organizes laboratory rules and safety.
2   Calculates the quantity of solution from solid and liquid matter and prepares solution.
3   Charts working principles of equipment using in environmental chemistry analysis.
4   Carries out experiments related to environmental chemistry.
5   Implies the need correct and sensitive methods using in laboratory applications.
