Course Objective

To give information on preparation of project, waste water collection and storm water drainage.

1   To express the basic concepts associated with sewage
2   To explain the methods of sewage
3   To use efficient methods of sizing sewage
4   To discuss and interpretation the results of the methods
5   The sizing of the data evaluation methods applied to sewage facilities plan, drawing inferences from the findings.

2 Prediction of the population and wastewater quantity and characteristics
3 Hydraulic calculations of free-surface flows, depth and speed calculation
4 Advantages and disadvantages of Sewage systems
5 Design of sewerage network
6 Wastewater pumping.
7 Disposal of wastewater without sewerage network
8 Septic tanks
9 Stormwater project bases.
10 Violence-repeats-time relation for Stormwater
11 Calculation of the drainage systems.
12 Special structures in the drainage system.
13 Midterm I and quantity accounts
14 Pricing and maintenance-operating principles.

Lecture supported by visual presentations and also problems will be solved. Discussion
