Course Objective

This lecture's aim is that the students can realize the main information related to air
pollution and control. In the scope of lecture, air pollutants, air pollution sources,
pollutant dispersion, control techniques, and management of air quality are taught, and
the exam, quiz, homework, and project are applied during the term.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to determine the problems of air pollution and to offer alternative control techniques.
2   to describe the reasons of problems and to present alternative control precautions
3   to plan the measurement, analysis, and data collection for designating sources and extent of problems
4   to designate available solutions for different problems

9 Air Pollution control, general principles, control strategies, control of particulate matter
10 cyclone, bag filters, electrostatic holders
