Course Objective

The objectives of this course are to teach the negative effects of energy production and consumption on the environment, to gain awareness of environmentally friendly and energy efficient systems, to choose environmentally friendly and energy efficient systems.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To identify energy and environmental policies
2   To understand and evaluate the importance of the relationship between energy and the environment,
3   To classify energy sources and types, to explain the processes of production and consumption,
4   To question the causes and effects of global warming,
5   To explain the potential of renewable energy sources and availability of detection.
