Course Objective

Course subject is to perform an analysis of development and changes of the matter of education in the global scenario in the perspective of the European Union, the Council of Europe and Turkey by making comprasions in terms of administrative and legal capacity related to environmental education, as well as its practices.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know the basic philosophy of Environmental Administration and Integrated Environmental Policies in the European Union and the Council of Europe, to learn partnership in education policies.
2   To learn the legislation intended for the environmetal balance of protection and use which is on the basis of compliance works with the European Union and the social and administrative responsibilities.
3   To examine the development and status reports of the European Union and Council of Europe and to evaluate Turkey s capacity.
4   To learn multifaceted political, economic and cultural impacts of international organizations which act as pressure groups.
5   To know and question Turkey s indicators of environmental education within the global environmental friendly understanding at international political level.
6   To comprehend the importance of the education which is compatible and interactive with nature.
