Course Objective

The general objective of this course is to make student have information about the main organs of state, their powers, relationships between them and constitutional protection of rights and freedoms .

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Being able to analyze the Turksih constitutional developments in respect of constitution/ democracy / division of powers and government system.
2   Being able to identify the supremacy of constitution.
3   Being able to explain the relation between democracy and republic.
4   Being able to determine the distinctive features of government system adopted by the current constitution.
5   Being able to discuss the perceptions of state of law and the democracy under the light of universal democracy standards.
6   Being able to comprehend the varieties and ways of constitutional judicial review.
7   Being able to discuss about fundemental principles on protection and limitation of the constitutional rights and freedoms.
