Course Objective

The aim of the course is to teach system and system analysis concepts, system modelling, basic principles of information and information based systems, and the differences between production and service systems. To design a new system with project management and/or to convey basic principles of project management to improve current system, to conduct project management with Ms Project.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to understand system analysis applications in managerial sciences.
2   To be able to explain necessity of project management to design and improve system
3   To be able to apply basic principles of project management
4   To be able to apply optimisation based solution approaches in project management
5   To be able to use Ms Project software at suggested level
6   To be able to allocate task and resources within project management framework
