Course Objective

To comprehend the various aspects of occupational health and safety, to provide the skill of being able to prepare, carry out and assess a programme of occupational health and safety in an organisation.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To know occupational health and safety legislation
2   Being able to analyse the causes of work-related accidents and being able to organize necessary precautions
3   Being able to explain the factors that affect the occupational health and being able to propose necessary precautions
4   Being able to explain the process of risk assessment
5   Being able to constitute work safety programme
6   Being able to explain factors of safety culture
