Course Objective

To analyze; the basic problems of the world economy, the global economy and the new world order redefinition of the concepts of formation conditions and results.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To be able to explain the developments of the world economy with illustrations in 20th century.
2   To be able to query of the new economic order, development and descriptions at the country level.
3   To be able to analyze the center-periphery relations.
4   To be able to evaluate globalization and its results.
5   To be able to assess the causes and consequences of the global financial crisis.

6 Money and financial markets, globalization, financial crises: Country examples
7 Foreign Direct Investment, MNCs in the world economy

10 Regionalization, the process of regional integration in developing countries
11 Emerging Markets, Transition economies, countries
