Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to introduce students the administrative techniques and administrative problems related to recreation and leisure services. It will provide the students readings, class activities and cases to create a philosophy of recreation and leisure management. |

Assessment Criteria |
1. The interview project will be word-processed and between 10-20 pages on a given topic. The project will be clearly written and structured and will demonstrate an awareness of understanding the nuances of administrative duties and responsibilities of an administrator of parks and recreation agency, a non-profit or a private business. The students of each group (maximum 4 students per group) will be able to explain every detail of the interview project and how it reflects the adaptation of theoretical knowledge to practical business life. |
