Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with major trends, actors and events in the political life of Europe in the 20th century both on a continent-wide and country-by-country basis. Turning points in domestic politics of France, Britain, Germany (later East and West), Soviet Union, Spain etc. will be discussed, as well as common social and cultural trends. |
