Course Objective

The objective of this course is to introduce the students to basics of financial accounting concepts and principles, accounting cycle and inventory transactions.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand of the basic accounting concepts in order to apply accrual accounting.
2   Be able to analyze and record economic transactions by using appropriate accounts in order to prepare accounting reports.
3   Be able to generate general financial statements in order to compare the information provided in each.
