Course Objective |
The objective of this course is to pursue an investigation to the fundamental dynamics of industrial societies since 1945. Postwar reconstruction (1945-50), the great boom and its disintegration (1950-74) and the years of slow growth (1974 onwards) are the three phases that will be studied. It is the major macroeconomic trends and basic relations (capital-to-capital, capital-to-labor, capital-to-state) that will be explored within this scope. |
