Course Objective

The target of this course is to give students an introduction to the basics of marine insurance law. The actual and historical sources of marine
insurance law will be examined.

1   Describe the principles of maritime and transport law
2   Explain the basis of all marine insurance policies
3   Understand the importance of insurance and the risks covered in maritime transportation
4   Demonstrate the knowledge and understanding in the application of principle of marine insurance in the legal context
