Course Objective

To give students general view about Education; and helps them to gain basic terms of Educational sciences. Its scientific aspects, methods, techniques will be thought. Making ties and relation between educational sciences and Religious Education. The development of Turkish Education in history, the structure and features of National Education System will be learned and its relation to Religious education will be emphasized.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   They will be able to define Education science and its terms, and able to use them
2   They will have information about education science and its scientific character and aspects
3   They will understand its subfields, subjects and methods; and link them to religious education
4   They will grasp Turkish Education System and its features, and will see the place of religious education in this scale
5   They will see the importance of teacher in Education system and make connection with this to teacher of Religious Education
