Course Objective

To provide knowledge about theoretical and practical sides of religious education theories. that has been developped recently. With this perspective, students will be able to evaluate the imrprovements in social, cultural, educational, and scientific changes in society that were related to the improvements of modern educational theories. They can provide philosophical backgrounds of modern educational theories as well as their educational and religious understandings. They will know the most known representetives of these religious educational theorists, so that they can evaluate our countries' religious theories.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be able to explain the process of changes in political, cultural, religious areas that had been a source of imrpvements modern religious theories; and can be compare them eachother.
2   They will be evaluate the general properties of modern religious theories.
3   They will be able to anylize theoritically these modern educational theories.
4   They can explain the effects of these modern religious theories to the religious educational models.
5   They can make link between religious educational theories with educational systems and program developing process.

5 Evaluation of classical (traditional) religious educational theories.
6 Phennomenologic religious educational models.
7 Crytical religious educational models.
8 Midterm Exam
9 Questineable religious educational models.
10 Interpreteative religious educational models.
11 Constructive religious educational models.
12 Post-modernist religious educational models.
13 Pluralist religious educational models.
14 Comparing these religious educational models.
