Course Objective

The problems and struggles in modern life caused by situated and ossified religious views will be examined and analysed philosophically; and some offers about their possible resolutions will be given attention.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students will be aware of the problems and struggles in modern daily life caused by religion
2   2. Will see whether there is any solution taken from religious views for some problems that are caused by modern world view.
3   Will have an idea about whether there is any modern interpret of religion based on scientific results.
4   Will see and understand where these problems come from and how they occur.
5   Will see related examples and solutions of these problems in history, if there is any.
