Course Objective

To provide for students a qualified ability for reciting Quran both from its paper and also form memory obeying the rules and musical criterias.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Recites Quran properly in the presence of Public
2   Learns necessary amount from Quran for rituals
3   Gains the abilities expected by people from a religious staff inside or outside
4   Cares reciting obeying the rules of specific modes
5   Cares the letters of Quran and their pronounciation

Course Contents

Week Subject Description
1 Sura Fatiha and its proper recitation
2 Surat Baqara and its recitation in the mode of Saba
3 Sura Bakara, Verses 254-256 and memorized reciting of them
4 Baqara 254-256 and its stright recitation.
5 Baqara verses 285-286 straight and correct recitation
6 Baqara verses 285-286 memorized recitation
7 Hasr versus 18-24 their strong and sound recitation and memorized.
8 Midterm exam
9 Sura Hasr verses 18-24 memorized recitation
10 Sura Hasr verses 22-24 reciting them with beginning basmala in the mode of Sada
11 Sura Ali imran 1-2 with different passing rules
12 Recitation of the first three pages of ali imran with seriousness.
13 Recitation of the last two pages of ali imran with seriousness.
14 recitation with different passing rules from âl-i Imran to Nisâ
15 Final Exam
