Course Objective

Criminal Law(General Provisions)'s objective is, as a basic course of criminal law, simply, analyzing and searching human behaviours that is formed a crime and sanctions of crimes.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To remain in a possession of the basic criminal law terminology within the framework of Turkish Criminal Code(general provisions).
2   Especially to remain in a possession of the general crime theory and sanction theory.
3   Practising of knowledge that is acquired during their education
4   Conceiving of the differences between crimes and other human behaviours.
5   Ascertaining of the sanctions that are applied for crimes and regulated in acts.

2 The basic principles of criminal law in democratic state under the rule of law
3 Chronological process of criminal law and it's effects on criminal liability.
4 The sources of criminal law and the practice field of the criminal law rules.

7 Structural elements of the crime (Objective Elements )
8 Structural elements of the crime (Subjective Elements )

10 Structural elements of the crime (Contradiction to law)
11 Structural elements of the crime (Culpability-requirements of the culpability)
12 alibi(excuse) grounds- the removal and reducing of culpability
