Course Objective

The aim of this lesson is to make students know the place of Turkish Language Amongst the Languages of the World ,recognize the Homeland and Old Neighbours Turks ,make them have information about the linguistic process from the Alp Er Tonga epic to date(e.g. Linguistic features of Kokturkish,the Uigur Turkish)by establishing Old Cultures and Turks relation.

1   Specify the history of Turkish language with outlines
2   Specify the history of Turkish linguistics with outlines
3   Compare the difference between Turkish linguists by showing differences
4   Classify the synchronic and diachronic researches on Turkish
5   Distinguish the old Turkish texts
