Course Objective

This course aims at enabling the students to become aware of the current problems in Turkish language and to scrutinize these issues from a critical perspective.

1   define the current issues in Turkish Language
2   explain clearly the motivations and the results of Turkish Language Revolution
3   distinguish education in mother tongue and mother tongue training
4   discuss the outcomes of the interaction between Turkish and other languages
5   evaluate the current issues in Turkish Language from a critical perspective
