Course Objective

Teaching of instrumental techniques in illuminating crime events

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Learn the role of chemistry in forensic sciences and explain the analysis methods used in forensic chemistry
2   To be able to comprehend the sampling process, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods in forensic chemistry
3   Explain how analytical methods are used to clarify the crime and the differences between these methods
4   To be able to comprehend the important points in the analysis of narcotic, explosives and criminal substances
5   To be able to select methods for any analysis in forensic chemistry and evaluate the results of the applied method
