Course Objective

The aim of the course is to explain composite manufacturing processes, application and characterization of polymeric composites

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understand what composite materials are made up of, advantage and drawbacks of polymeric composites, and what kind of application areas are available
2   Have knowledge about characterization of polymer composites.
3   Identify the common manufacturing Techniques
4   Be able to reveal the importance of adhesin in polymeric composites and what affects the adhesion process.

Assessment Criteria

Student will be assessed with questions which will be asked in final exam and homeworks. The announcement of homeworks and delivering times is made in the courses. The homeworks, which were not given on time and without signature, are not accepted. Homoworks may also be presented by students
