Course Objective

The main objective of this course is to apply the basic processes used in inorganic chemistry laboratory, synthesize and purify the inorganic chemical substances, interpret the experimental results.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Can safely use chemicals used in inorganic chemistry laboratory and apply basic operations, determine the empirical formula of hydrated compounds.
2   Synthesize different inorganic salts and compounds, calculate efficiency in reactions.
3   It can prepare a natural chemical indicator and determine its working range.
4   Determine the stoichiometry and symmetry properties of a complex.

The student is evaluated by taking into consideration of quiz which will be applied at the end of the term, average grade of reports prepared after the experiments (homework)and the questions asked in the midterm and final exams.
