Course Objective

This course aims to improve planning, research, writing and presentation skills of an original study in a group work.

1   Discuss an advanced knowledge in the basic areas of statistics
2   Be able to integrate their knowledge with critical thinking skills in order to become problem solvers
3   Be able to effectively use the scientific literature

Presentation: Evaluation of the presentation of the group by the juries consisting of 3 lecturer
Projects: Evaluation of students' scientific report by the report evaluating committee.
Active participation to the lecture: Evaluation of the contribution of the student to research by the lecturer

Reading the related parts of the course material each week, attending the course and participating in class discussions are the requirements of the course. Attendance to at least 70% for the lectures is an essential requirement of this course and is the responsibility of the student. It is necessary that attendance to the lecture and homework delivery must be on time.
