Course Objective

To make students to learn basic concepts and principles of design of experiment, to learn types of designs, to learn analysis of variances and multiple comparison methods of treatment means.

3   To fit one-way ANOVA model and to calculate ANOVA table
4   To examine analysis of variance assumptions and residual analysis
5   To make multiple comparisons between treatment means

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

Lecture format, built around the textbook readings and computer applications with numerous examples chosen to illustrate theoretical concepts. Lots of drill with emphasis on practice. Questions are encouraged and discussion of material stressed.
