Course Objective

The aim of the course is to introduce the definition of mythology and concepts related to mythology; mit types; religion-folk belief-mythology relation; mythology in the world; The sources of Turkish mythology; mythology and shamanism; Turkish mythology-totemism-animism; examples of texts about Turkish mythology; Animal symbolism in Turkish mythology; mythology and art of the relevant publications and images to be examined and understood by the presentation.
