Course Objective |
The aim of the course is to introduce the Turkish art and traditional Turkish painting concept; Central Asia, chronology and culture areas; to examine the Hun animal style samples and their relation with beliefs in the murderous finds and wall paintings, portraits of Göktürk tomb stones; Uighur period wall paintings and miniatures; The characteristics of the new style of representation that emerged during the Turkish-Islamic era and the ban on depictions in Islam; Karahanli, Gazneli and Great Seljuk periods depict the characteristics of the style; Examples of Great Seljuk Period; Anatolian Seljuk period figurative examples of plastic, tile and ceramic arts, Anatolian Seljuk period depicted tomb stones; To ensure that the process of formation and development of the depictive style extending from Central Asia to Anatolia is understood by the presentation of relevant publications and images. |
