Course Objective

The aim of this course is to learn Culture, Cultural Geography, Cultural Heritage and the concepts on Cultural Geography and to recognize of Turkey's Cultural Geography resources and to understand of the importance of the these resources in terms of sustainable development.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Knows the concept of Cultural Geography information.
2   Classify Turkey's Cultural Geography resources.
3   Become aware of Turkey's Cultural Geography resources.
4   Assess the Cultural Geography resources through tourism and plan it in Turkey (Aegean Region).
5   Create awareness about the importance of using protection of cultural heritages in terms of sustainable development.
6   Use theoretical information in field studies.
