Course Objective

The aim of this course is to inform students about the new counselling approaches and models in terms of basic concepts, human nature, counselling process, the role of the counsellor and the techniques and methods used.

1   Students will be able to conceptualze the new counselling approaches and models
2   Students will be able to understand clients' problems within the framework of the new models
3   Students will gain the necessary skills to help clients
4   Students will gain insight about their helping approaches
