Course Objective

The aim of this this course should be given to the students to gain the basic concepts and principles related to trauma counseling; trauma types, loss and mourning intervention

1   Student could explain the basic concepts of trauma counseling
2   Student could recognize the types of trauma and evaluate their effects.
3   Student could explain the trauma intervention methods
4   Student could develop understanding of legal and ethical issues in trauma counselling
