Course Objective

To examine the basic principles and concepts of pragmatics from the basic concepts which hold an important place among linguistic theories

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Apprehend basic principles of pragmatic.
2   Apprehend distinction between basic principles of pragmatic and the other terms of linguistic.
3   Apprehend theoretical evolution of semiotic.
4   Apprehend the role of semiotic in teaching foreign languages, especially in teaching French.
5   Analyze contributions of acts of languages for communicative approach.
