Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to examine the teaching programs used in teaching French in terms of goals, methods, techniques, tools and equipments, to develop new teaching programs which can be used in teaching French, to improve the ability of teacher candidates to look at teaching programs.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student knows the meaning, function and target of teaching programs
2   The student understands and explains the methods, techniques, tools and equipment recommended in French teaching programs
3   The student examines the learning-teaching approaches and assessment types in French teaching in the light of their knowledge
4   The student can analyze the teaching programs used in French and other foreign language teaching
5   The student candesign new teaching programs in French teaching

5 An overview of programs used in French teaching abroad in terms of approaches, methods, contents, tools, types of evaluation and developed competences
6 Approaches, methods, tools and tools used in programs used in French teaching abroad
7 Examination of the competencies recommended in the programs

10 French teaching programs currently in force in secondary education
