Course Objective

To enable prospective teachers to acquire the knowledge of lives and works of the authors of French Literature who lived in different centuries .

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   define the term of literature
2   comprehend the Middle Ages, the Medieval Literature, the medieval authors and their works
3   comprehend the Renaissance, the Renaissance Literature, its authors and their works
4   comprehend the Seventeenth-century, the Seventeenth-century Literature and its authors and their works
5   interpret the similarities and differences between the Medieval authors and the Renaissance authors
6   interpret the similarities and differences between the Seventeenth-century and the Renaissance authors
