Course Objective

The purpose of the course is to familiarize students with the historical background of the methods starting with grammar translation and enable them to use these methods techniques

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   to enable students to understand the historical background of the approaches used in language teaching
2   to enable them to compare, categorize methods and approaches
3   to enable them to choose the best methods suitable for lstudents
4   to be able to forme a perspective regarding the importance of the method in language teaching
5   to lead sts to apply the theoretical knowledge into the practice through syntesis
