Course Objective

The objective of this course is to explain the main concepts of political science, psychological, social and economic grounds of politics to the teacher candidates, and to inform them about political institutions, government and state, contemporary political systems and regimes.

1   Explains main concepts, topics and methods of political science
2   Explains psychological, social and economic grounds of politics
3   Explains political institutions, government and state, political systems and regimes.
4   Explains the concepts such as political participation, public opinion, political parties, pressure and interest groups
5   Uses the gains he/she obtains from introduction to political science course in personal life and in his/her profession as a teacher
