Course Objective

This course is desingned to introce the content, research and apply of historical evidence, oral history and local history in social studies classes.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Develop communication skills that will assist them and their future students in understanding their world and their roles as citizens in world.
2   Learn planning and assessment procedures for effective, integrated, and functional social studies lessons.
3   Develop skills in utilizing historical evidences local and oral history for teaching social studies in the elementary classroom.
