The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic knowledge, skills and application skills required to prepare course materials by using various instructional technologies. For this purpose, it is aimed to teach basic knowledge of various instructional technologies, features of instructional materials and instructional technologies, preparation of various teaching materials and preparation of appropriate

1 Introduction to the course, explanation of the lesson plan, introduction of resources
2 The importance of using teaching techniques in teaching social studies
3 Software types and purposes; principles of design and development of materials to be used in teaching social studies
4 Use of films, photographs, cartoons, graphics, maps, tables etc. in material design
5 Determination of material needs for teaching social studies
6 Design of two and three dimensional teaching materials.Worksheets, transparencies; VCD, DVD, MP3 and MP4 files etc. development of teaching materials
7 Realization of classroom applications for different teaching materials
8 General review, course evaluation, midterm exam
