Course Objective

The purpose of this course is to examine the foundational concepts, theories and problems about the values education and increase the awareness of the early childhood teacher candidates about the value education and development of children in early childhood period.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Students identify and define the universal values.
2   Students explain the moral and personality development and integrates the knowledge to the activities.
3   Students discuss the importance of the universal values and its education.
4   Students design activities about the universal values, which can be implemented at home and at school
5   Students explain the importance of the families in developing universal values and design activities that increase the awareness of the families about their role.
