Course Objective |
The aim of this course is to give examples of experiments made with simple and inexpensive materials in the teaching of concepts of physics, chemistry and biology in science course; to develop simple and inexpensive experiments; to develop experiments and activities using computer, communication and other technologies in laboratory; to determine the experimental and scientific processes skills and to design the activities and experiments that provide the development of these skills; planning, conducting and reporting of various experiments based on different laboratory approaches appropriate to the nature of physics, chemistry, biology, environment, geology topics within the curriculum of 7th and 8th grade science courses in the secondary school; to show alternative approaches in which student performances are evaluated in experiments. |

The skills and knowledge related to the experiments, activities and applications in the scope of Turkish National Education will be assessed by students' presentation assignments, portfolios, experimental applications and projects |
