Course Objective

The primary purpose of the course is to teach students Turkey s geopolitics by giving detailed information about the development process of Turkish foreign policy.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have knowledge about the foundations and the development process of Turkish foreign policy.
2   To have knowledge about the methods of Turkish foreign policy
3   To have the ability to witness ongoing changes in the world conjuncture
4   To have the ability to understand Turkey s position in the post cold war period
5   To have the ability to understand Turkey s foreign policy towards certain regions, international institutions and actors
