Course Objective

The aim of the course is learning how to use the programs Make Music Finale and Sharp Eye .

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student can write parts with Make Music Finale 2   Can write partitur with Make Music Finale. 3   Can perform the files which is prepared by Make Music Finale with using MIDI and VST. 4   Can study on notes which is scanned by Sharp Eye. 5   Can make file transfers between the two programs with using MusicXML.

Course Contents

Week Subject Description 1 Make Music Finale: Page Registration, Using Document Wizard. 2 Make Music Finale: Being Introduced of note writing methods. (With Keyboard, Mouse and MIDI) 3 Make Music Finale:Note writing on one staff, Adjustment of lines and measures. 4 Make Music Finale: Using and Practicing the Articulation, Loudness and their signs. - Assignment 5 Make Music Finale: Studies on writings of Piano, Organ and Harp. 6 Make Music Finale: Writing of chamber music and orchestra partiturs. 7 Make Music Finale: Making a partitur with using of chamber music or orchestra parts. 8 Make Music Finale: Performing of a piece which is written with MIDI and VST plug-ins. Assignment 9 Make Music Finale: Preparing files for other programs with using Finale s import-export feature and studing in Finale with files which is prepared with other programs. 10 Sharp Eye: Using Scanner- Studies on various paint files. 11 Sharp Eye: Using note fixing tools of Sharp Eye. 12 Sharp Eye: Using rest and measure tools of Sharp Eye. 13 Sharp Eye:Using the other tools of Sharp Eye. 14 Sharp Eye: Guideline about MusicXML Using the files with Finale which is prepared with Sharp Eye.
