Describe the influences of technological changes and new media forms on popular culture.

4   Describe to basic approachs of Cultural Studies and Media Studies about relationship between technological change, popular culture and media,

1 Introduction: concepts of media , popular culture and technology .
2 Communication studies and media studies.
3 Printing.
4 Gromophone, sound record technologies and progressing of music industry. Radio, cinema, TV and change on press.
5 Case study: media and political criticism in 1950 s America.
6 Impact of medias and technological divices on local and trans local connections.
7 Global connectivity in the context of media and technology.
8 Global flow of elements of Popular music in context of global cultural flow (-scapes).
9 Decentralize media, social media and virtual community.
10 Scene, decentralize media and new scene forms in the context of internet.
11 Midterm exam.
12 Technological change and change of music industry.
13 Technological change and change on popular music sound.
14 Delivering term project.
